Frank Zephyr (Philip's father, 60-75) is a widower living alone. He was once a self-employed small business owner who strived to provide for his son Philip. Frank encouraged his son's interests and fought for him to have any opportunity that he could imagine. At this point in his life, he is beginning to suffer the effects of old age as they attack his mind and body. In spite of these hardships, he tries to remain independent and also be supportive of his son's efforts.
