Kate Zephyr (Philip's wife, 28-33) fears that she is losing her husband to his job. She is pretty and youthful but beginning to show signs of weariness as the stress of keeping her family together begins to mount. She trusts Philip and is willing to make compromises to make their family work even as she bears much of the burden of maintain their family.
